Delete your account
Clock-Clock, the attendance app by Deve-loops
In the app
- Open Clock-Clock and sign in.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Delete account. The app tells you exactly what will happen before you confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. If punches are still saved on your phone because it was offline, the app asks you to get back online first so they reach your employer; nothing is deleted until they have.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my Clock-Clock account". We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your login and password.
- Your email address and phone number.
- The phone registered to your account, its notification token, and your notifications.
- Leave and phone-change requests that were still waiting for a decision, and shifts planned for you from now on.
What is kept
Older versions of the app said your name would be removed. An account deleted from one of them, or before this page changed, is kept that way: under "Deleted user", without a name, with the employee number and the records.
Company admins
- If you are the only admin of a company where people are still working, make someone else an admin first: in the app (Manage, Team, their name, Make admin) or on the web dashboard (Employees, their name, Make admin). If you own the company, you choose which admin takes it over.
- If you are the last person still active and the company only has former staff besides you, you can delete your account. The company keeps every record, yours included, nobody is left to sign in to it, and its unused invite codes stop working. To have the company closed and its records deleted as well, email [email protected]; we help you export them first.
- If you are the only person your company has ever had and it holds attendance, leave or payroll records, deleting your account does not delete them. Decide about the company first. To close it, tap Close the company in the app: it opens the page on this website that closes it, and then lets you delete your account there (or back in the app). Or keep your account.
- If you are the only person your company has ever had and it holds no attendance, leave or payroll record at all, the empty company is removed with your account. The app says so before you confirm.
Closing a company
Closing a company is its own decision, separate from deleting an account, and it deletes the company and every record in it for good.
- The owner of a company nobody else has ever been in can close it on the web dashboard: Settings, then Close company (the app's Close the company button opens it directly). The dashboard shows what will be deleted and asks you to type the company's name to confirm. Export anything you need first. Your login stays, with no company, until you delete it.
- A company that has had anybody else is closed through [email protected]: we help you export its records first, then close it.
